Hey there my name is Ayo and I'm the MedSoc treasurer for this academic year. I'm entering my third year at Pembroke doing the History and Philosophy of Science for my BA. My biggest advice is to find things to get involved in that are outside of medicine and just enjoy Cambridge in general. Once term starts the work really never ends and can be brutal at times, so it's important to have things to do outside of the degree in general to keep your sanity. My biggest tip is don't forget to sign up for MedSoc as the committee have loads of awesome things planned throughout the year!
