Suleyman Noordeen

I'm Suley, a third year at John's, taking PNB this year. I'm one of the two welfare officers alongside Lucy, and I'm looking forward to meeting many of you at our upcoming events this year! As welfare officers, our role is to help support medics going through the Cambridge course, whether it be through organising food discount and social events, or through drop-in sessions where discuss any issues that may occur and help direct you to get the support you need.

Some advice I would give to freshers, is to remember that throughout Cambridge your fellow medics are in the same boat as you, and working together makes things much easier- both academically, such as essay planning or sharing notes, as well as socially, coming together to support eachother and sharing difficulties you've faced throughout the course.
